Saudi Arabia’s Al-Baik Restaurant, a fast food concept, was pushed to shut down four hours after it opened due to an unexpected number of customer arrivals; the consequent crowd, consisting thousands of customers, had queued to buy their iftar meals, Stepfeed reported.

There were reports of damage to the restaurant’s property earlier, which were later denied. Police officers and civil defense personnel were called in to control the situation and crowd.

The restaurant’s official account tweeted: “There is no truth in the news that damage had taken place during the opening of Al-Baik in Al-Qassim, and we’d like to clarify that we closed it down to maintain the safety of our customers.”

More than 40 years old restaurant is known for its broasted chicken and shrimp with a variety of sauces, and has more than 50 branches across Saudi Arabia.

Banks With Highest Interest Rate For Time Deposit and Savings Accounts In Philippines

As an OFW we all wanted a safe and risk-free investment. Although there are many wise OFWs now who would take great risk to start a business or invest their money in the stock market or investing in money market instruments like bonds and treasury bills, still a lot more would rather save their money in banks.  However, if you are torn between placing your money in a time deposit or savings account, you may compare and choose which one gives the highest interest rate on the deposit account.

Below we have compiled the information for the savings account and time deposit so you could compare which bank offers the highest interest rate for your savings account as well as the bank that offers the highest interest rates for time deposits to help you decide where to put your money.

1 Year Fixed Term Deposit

In comparison, time deposit account offers higher interest rate than the savings account. The longer the term of your time deposits the higher the interest rate too.

*Rates may vary depending on deposit amount. For more information about the base deposit amount please click on the corresponding account type linked for each bank

2 Months Time Deposit

Compared to a savings account, 2 months time deposit has more than twice the interest rate compared to a regular savings account. The good thing about this is that your money would be available for your use after 2 months and then you can simply renew it every time it matures. Quite tasty but your interest earned will also be doubled.

Please also note that although time deposits offer higher interest yield, some banks impose fee if you withdraw your fund before the maturity date. The interest is also subject to withholding tax. We recommend that you still keep savings account in case of emergency, or place your time deposits on short terms (like 2 months)  and simply renew it every time it matures.

TOP 130 SCHOOLS AND UNIVERSITIES IN THE PHILIPPINES WITH MOST COURSES AND MOST BOARD PASSERS

According to FindUniversity.PH, the "Philippine Universities Ranking is based on the aggregated passing rates of each school in all board exams that their graduates participated in. It is the first Philippine Universities Ranking that is based on relevant, up-to-date and measurable data. There are over 60 different board exams conducted by the PRC, and we aggregated the results from those board exams, ranked each school in each board exam, and then aggregated the rankings for each school, to come up with a Weighted Board Exams Ranking for each school.
Note that the official ranking contains only schools that were ranked in at least 10 board exams."
(please note also that Thoughtskoto didn't rank these schools but only posted the result from FindUniversity)

UPDATE, CHANGING THE NUMBER OF BOARD EXAMS WILL YIELD THIS RESULT. It means that Ateneo de Manila and the likes that offers few courses with board exams doesn't mean that they are not one of the best schools too.
